I LOVE NEW YORK 355 at the Glen
Sunday, August 6, 2017 – 3:00pm ET
Watkins Glen International – Watkins Glen, New York

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series heads to New York for some road course racing this week at Watkins Glen International for the I LOVE NEW YORK 355. Watkins Glen International is a 7-turn, 2.45-mile paved road course. The race is scheduled for 90 laps – 220.5 miles, or 355 kilometers.

Martin Truex Jr. is still at the top of the Monster Energy Series standings. He has increased his total to 823 points, and he’s still followed by Kyle Larson with 738 and Kevin Harvick with 726. Kyle Busch is a close 4th with 723 points.

The current weather forecast for Sunday’s race in Watkins Glen has temperatures in the low 70s and there is a slight to moderate chance of precipitation.

The drivers have not yet completed qualifying for their start positions in Sunday’s race. You can find their practice times and the updated qualifying times/positions prior to race time at the following link: NASCAR Race Center.

Driver Selections and Points

Each contestant will choose three drivers for the weekly STEEM Cup Series from the field of qualifying drivers. Based on the number of drivers and the final results of the race, drivers will be assigned points as follows:

1st place	40
2nd place	39
3rd place	38

38th place	3
39th place	2
40th place	1

Once these points are tallied, they will be divided by 2. After the points are divided, the following bonus points will be awarded/deducted:

+10 points for unique driver combinations. If two or more contestants select the same drivers, then only the first contestant to post those selections will earn the bonus points. ENTRIES THAT ARE NOT UNIQUE DRIVER COMBINATIONS WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR ANY OF THE ADDITIONAL BONUS POINTS.

+15 points for the race winner.

+3 points for each driver finishing the race ahead of MY DRIVER.

Contestants cannot choose RYAN BLANEY as one of their drivers for this race.

How to Play and Win

In a comment on this post, submit the full names of your three drivers. ONLY ONE COMMENT SUBMISSION PER USER, PER WEEKLY CONTEST.
Submissions will be confirmed and locked in at the start of the weekly race. ALL CONTEST SUBMISSIONS MUST BE ENTERED PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED START TIME OF THE RACE. Late submissions and any edits after that time will be automatically disqualified from the weekly contest.
There will be three winners each week. The winners will be the contestants with the most points gained, based on the points distribution outlined in Driver Selections. All point totals earned from all contestants will carry over for the monthly and season-long contests.
The contest is funded with a minimum pot of 5 SBD. The total weekly pot distribution will be divided as follows:

1st	50%
2nd	30%
3rd	20%

In the event of a tie, the true point total (non-rounded value of total points) will be used in an attempt to break the tie. If a tie remains, then the pot will be split between the tying contestants.

I don't know if the big bag holders realize or not. People like you and sportsncoffee do it right. You come up with some kind of contest and give your upvote, this platform would grow huge if all the big holders did that! If all the top guys are in a pissin contest with each other, it does no one any good!

Ats david will no longer be giving downvotes to you with his delegation as dan notestein has already gone to him about the drama he created with this little chain of events he caused.
I have this from blocktrades himself (minus my opinion of ats childishness) as i am close friends with him and am very aware that he likes builders who make his sp more valuable and not people who prefer destroying things.

Whaleshares had a 3x charge to downvote for this reason. Ats david in the otherhand did not have to pay 3x to downvote. He just did it and then chose to attack us...dans other delgated account?

Dan notestein has seen me prove myself multiple times over many years so do not worry patelincho. Ats david will lose his sp if he continues. Again dan has warned him and if ats pushes more drama behind the scenes with dan and makes me have to WASTE TIME defending myseld... I have been silently building evidence of his past abuses in case he ever gets out of line again.

Delegation is a beautiful thing, when utilized correctly. Dan doesnt like this drama and I have everything we need now to prove who starts drama with the sp. Whaleshares also will have downvoting disabled...as a thank you to notestein for his trusting me all this time (even while sharks nibble at me).

I wish ats didnt make us have to go on the blockchain and elsewhere to fund such info because we prefer to build communities instead of tear them down. But if ats continues i will most certainly bring it up with dan...with the proof added of allll the past bullshit he has caused and all the shittalking of whaleshares as a "scam". Yes ats...we have proof of motive for your attack too. You REALLY underestimate the creator of community coins??? Silly childish boy.
