The same-sex marriage Newspoll came out with the Yes vote is losing ground to the No vote: 57 (-6) support same-sex marriage and oppose same-sex marriage is 34 (+4).

Preferred PM: Voters drift from PM Turnbull as Malcolm Turnbull loses ground to Bill Shorten as PM: Turnbull 42 (-4), Shorten 31 (+2). Christine Foster tweeted Sunday that “It's pretty clear the No campaign is about politics. The Yes campaign is about people."

Two Party Preferred: Labor 54 (+1), Coalition 46 (-1).

Straight Lives Matter Rally has poor turnout.

A Straight Lives Matter Rally held in Darlinghurst yesterday was poorly attended, it only managed to garner 15 supporters, police and media greatly outnumbered protesters. The leader of a right wing group who held a protest against same-sex marriage has blamed the poor turn out on a 'fear of violence' from same-sex marriage advocates. The rally organised by The Party for Freedom was held as a protest against the potential legalization of same-sex marriage and instead found itself vastly outnumbered by counter-protesters and police tasked with making sure that there were no clashes. Nick Folkes head of the The Party for Freedom disputed the police head count and said that there were 30 protesters. Despite that he said that the number was 'disappointing'.

"It was disappointing to see we weren't well supported on the day. The pro-marriage supporters can get thousands on the street and we can get barely any. We're the silent majority which is a real shame.”

National space agency for Australia, Adelaide poised to be major part of new industry with opening of SA Space Industry Centre announced by the Premier Jay Weatherill. The Federal Government will today announce the creation of a new space agency, to harness the billions of dollars and thousands of jobs that will be created. The space industry is worth more than $400 billion and in Australia it is worth about $4 billion and employs 11.500 workers. The State government estimates an agency could help boost that to as much as $18 billion within three years. Australia is the only developed nation without a space agency which would act as the first port of call for the industry and as a source of advice for the Government. Even if the Coalition lose the next election the agency will be created. Labor will announce today that if it comes to power, it will create an agency.

Sydney domestic and international flights delayed.

Sydney domestic and international flights delayed due to air traffic control system fault. Thousands of airline passengers on the first day of school holidays are facing delays following an air traffic control system failure. Dozens of flights have been cancelled while many more are experiencing delays of more than two hours. Air Services Australia said that there had been a 'system software failure' at Sydney's traffic control at 5am this morning. As a result, only a limited number of flights were able to depart. ASA said that the glitch had now been resolved but the airlines expected disruptions to continue as they dealt with the massive backlog. There are long queues at check-in and the transfer desks.
