MY STEEMIT JOURNEY

Hi guys,

Today I just felt like sharing how my steem journey started and how it's going. I find it very interesting how all this came about. Steem is the best thing that happened to me.

I joined the steemit platform just at the beginning of 2021. It was introduced to me by my good friend @njaywan. He may not remember how it started but I can recall how everything started.

It was during 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic was getting out of hand. All tertiary institutions were closed in ghana including mine (KNUST). We all went house to wait for the president’s regulations. During that era, most tertiary students were anxious about finding a way to make money online.

At that time, I was already engaged in one of these Ponzi schemes. Just like how we all know these Ponzi schemes, they usually require some referrals to build to a higher level. So I explained how it works to njaywan so that he could also join. So he smiled and later explained what he was also doing and told me steemit could be my best chance looking at how creative I was. Before that time, I had no knowledge about blockchain. So he explained everything concerning steemit to me and also guided me to create my account.

I started blogging on football and started making some diary game post in steem ghana. During that time, my markdowns and grammar were not very good so I had some comments from some steemians and my country representatives on how I could improve on all these aspects.

After some time, njaywan told me to join the crypto academy community to learn more about the crypto ecosystem and earn as well. He told me only homework task which is graded 5 and above would be curated so I should be very vigilant else my effort would be in vain. Nevertheless, I found my way through my first task. It was a lesson from yohan2on. I was very excited about that grade for my first task.

After some time, I introduced some of my good friends to join the platform. The first person I introduced was my younger brother @ryzsfa before two of my colleagues @captain36 and @kayduke. We were all very excited about a platform like steemit exits. We learned a lot from the platform, especially from the crypto academy community where we learned how to trade from the crypto professors.

Steemit is certainly the best thing that happened to me. There’s a lot more to talk about with steemit. Guess another day would present such an opportunity to express myself again.
