How are you doing today, white roving round steemit in search of interesting contest so as to be a participant of one, I came across this interesting contest hosted by @saintkelvin17.
This contest caught my attention because I love race, it always serve as a reminder for me to be on my toes.
Having said all this, join me as I share my entry to this contest
The word race is understood to be a competitive contest where individuals are required to compete against each other inorder to achieve a specific goal.
A specific goal such as completing a task in a short period of time or reaching a finish line before anyone else.
The word race can also be said to be a competition where individuals try to outperform each other while obeying same set of rules.
These rules often vary as they are highly dependent on the nature of the race, either a swimming competition, a footrace, a car race or in some instances, a contest of intellectual prowess.
Race at it core requires a level of skills, determination and strategy as all participants strive to outperform the other.
My favorite kind of sport race is swimming sport race.
Swimming sport race is my favorite sport because it is a kind of sport that involves virtually the major muscle group.
In contrast to other sport that may only focus on some certain parts of the body, swimming sport synchronizes all muscles from head to toe.
The repetition in swimming strokes, such as the back stroke, the front stroke and the butterfly stroke helps to build endurance and muscular strength.
I can swim very fast, like I earlier said, swimming is my best sport.
During my early days in the university, I often visit the swimming pool and race with most of my friends.
During the race, I often emerge as the best swimmer, and this often makes me happy.
If I am to rate my swimming speed from 1-100, I will give myself a 96 swimming rate.
There are so many Steemians on this platform, I am sure many of them can race, and are probably good at sprinting.
