The Lost Tree
Pretty long exposure (20 sec) sunset at Curonian Gulf, Lithuania. Colorful and burning and with a silky water as a result. Excellent tree as a foreground makes all the story.
Wide angle lens and LEE filters used
Enjoy it!

Now that is a truly great picture! Despite all of the good things in it (sunset colors, cool water effect, stark contrast of the tree), my favorite part is the shadow of the tree on the water underneath.
For some reason that is just a nice touch.
Oh yeah, there is also a bird in the picture. Looks almost as if someone purposely carved a bird in the tree side trunk :-)
You even made me curious about the bird... but yes, it is there ;)

Haha! I'm quite sure it has to be an elemental phoenix :-)
