In regards to steemit what is a key?

A key is similar password because they serve the same purpose and they are the combination of alphabets and numbers but it is different from password because a key is used to assess anything on steemit and it's been generated in a way that each key differ from one another.

Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?

Yes, I have. I personally didn't save any of my keys offline. I saved my master key I got after i signed up and my active keys that i retrieve on my gmail, that way i can easily assess it whenever i need it.

Functions of the keys on steemit.

There are 5 different keys on steemit each serves different purposes. These keys are ; Tron key, Posting key, Owners key, Active key and Memo key.

• The Tron key is used to assess any Tron related transactions and also fir it authorization.

• The posting key is used for posting related activities. It is used only when u want to make or edit a post or comment, Edit a post or comment and to Upvote users.

• The active key only function is to authorize tokens transfer, Power up or down, Vote for witnesses and mainlyto just assess any wallet related transaction.

• The owners key function is for account recovery and to reset the keys.

• The memo key is use for encrypting and decrypting messages.

How do I keep my master password?

I stored my master key on my gmail for safekeeping and easy assess.

How to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?

To transfer steem from one account to another, u have to visit the steemit wallet site. Login with your active key, click on steem, then transfer.

Input the username of the account and the amount of steem you are willing to sent.

How to power up your STEEM?

To To power up steem. You visit the steem wallet site and click on steem like you did when you want to transfer steem token, then you will see the power up option, then click on it.

Then input the amount of steem you are willing to power up. Then authorize the transaction.
