Hey Steemers this is Ayush

Have you ever felt really stuck? That feeling which hovers over you that every day is a struggle and tomorrow will be no different. And then you hear a voice that advises you to meditate to relieve you of the daily life stress, and you start wondering what meditation is, and how would you go about it? Many of us would have gone through this, but it seems there are always voices that keep asking you to do something. Ok so now let me put another question to you; how many of you feel like leaving all the daily grind and run away to some peaceful place? Let me guess; I think most of us want to but what if I tell you that meditation can address this issue to the extent that you will feel less stressed and more relaxed!

It is very natural that we sometimes feel intimidated by our professional and daily life challenges and we start to think that we are less powerful or incapable of handling all situations and ultimately stress ourselves. For example; an IT professional might feel that he is stuck in his job and he cannot be any more creative or productive at work. So what do we do should we give up when we move forward? I would like to ask all those high-tech professionals have they tried any meditative practices or even yoga.

Sitting in a relaxed manner every day for at least 15-30 minutes will make a huge difference in how you will approach things in daily life. Meditation enhances compassion, it allows you to see things more clearly and in the process create a sense of calm. There are many ways to meditate, and you can choose as per your comfort. Meditative practices help in reducing the feeling of depression and irritability.

Now that we have told you that meditation is a great way to unwind and relax but one question which most of us would have in mind; where is time to spare for meditation? So for that, my friend answer is that you need to find your “me time.” Some ways to meditate while at work could be that you leave early and spend 10-15 min meditating in your car, or turn your coffee break into a meditation break. The other simple way is to listen to meditative audios and if nothing works and you cannot just leave your work desk than concentrate on an object in front of you and take several deep breaths.

Happy Meditating!!
