Hello everyone, I welcome you all once again to my engagement post in this community, today, I will be engaging with other individuals from the various country where we get to discuss the Three Reason we love about my country, and the three Changes we had like to see in our country.

Firstly, let me introduce my Country[Nigeria] to you.

The name of my country is Nigeria, a country located in the South-western part of the African continent, Nigeria is a homeland to multiple cultures, with English being its official language, Nigeria just as every other country comprises of states, whereby the country has 36 states with three major ethics.

Nigeria has 3 popular native languages known Igbo, Hausa, and Yoruba, Hausa is the most populated among them, I personally belong to the Yoruba tribe and I originate from the Southern part of the County Lagos. Without taking much of our time, I will be diving into the Three R's and C's of my country.

Three Reason I love My Country

1 - Culture:- Growing up, I was brought up to embrace the Nigeria culture where the young are brainstorm to always respect the elders, and also believe elders are always right as they are expected to know much and better, the Nigeria culture is one of the most respectful as for what its worth, the culture brings unity and respect amongst individual and that part has never gone wrong ever since till date, thou the Nigeria culture diverse in the tribe, but the most of the common culture is the courtesy of respects to the elders, and the culture has tended to bring dignity and respects amidst several tribes.

2 - National Resource: - Nothing has made me proud of Nigeria other than its natural resources, Nigeria boasts of large resources, where we have more than enough fertile land, the resources as well diversify amongst the region of the country, the northern part quite have good land for crops such as Rice, Apple and the Southern part has quite a good soil for Bananas, Oil, and others, the country as always coexist and share this resources among each other, the Eastern part of the country has Crude Oil has its natural resources, it is of no doubt that Nigeria is known as one of the countries with a large supply of crude oil, we as well have good mining resources.

3 - The Country Optimism:- There has always been a say that optimism matters in all country action, for Nigeria, its optimism comes from the strives of its citizens, Nigeria for ones is listed among the top 100 the happiest country in the world, we believe to always been able to counter any situation irrespective of the current position we are in, this has always made me proud being a Nigerian myself have always had this happiness within me that have always kept me up to my day to day activities.

Three Changes I would Love

Political Age Barrier - There has always been the issue of age distance when you see youth coming out for a political position as we have always seen the top political carrier to be rotating amongst the country's Godfather, unlike other countries such as France and others, the country Nigeria since the past has always had its president between the Age 60 upward, this as even given the youth the loss of hope for contesting for a seat which the old folks are always contesting on, on this page, I would love and wish there can be changes attached to that in the Nigeria future.

2 - Insecurity - It is no news to even outsiders that there has been a great security issue in the country, the greatest surprise of this is that the insecurity mostly occurs in the northern part of the country, it saddens so much because the same northern base has a most military base and barracks more than any part of the country, Nigeria as well as been battling with terrorism over the last decades which the matter has been getting worse, on this page, I really wish there can be some changes to the insecurity part of Nigeria.

3 - Maintaining Resources - Nigeria for one lack maintenance, we could boast about having the large resource, but we sure don't have enough manpower to maintain it, is a joke that despite the crude oil resource, Nigeria still can't refine petrol since the last 20 years, this could be a major turn out in the country if there is a resource allocated to maintain the country resources, which led me to believe we could do better with handling and controlling our resources as well.

Conclusion

Nigeria is one of the greatest out there with natural resources, we are rich in crude oil and as well gas production, but it's just a game that we couldn't put into action to make this work better to our advantage, I hope there comes to be a change where the country does better, the government as well lift the age barrier and allow youth with great vision to take over the seat and act in the kindness of its citizen.

Nigeria for one is one of the greatest countries to live in as the country has a low number of natural disasters unlike we see in most countries and it of certain that living in the country is what I regard as an average man's life with enough natural resources and beautiful air to breath.

Here comes the end of my contest, do share your thought and reviews of my article in the comment.

I invite @usmanismail882 and @mukky23 to participate in the ongoing contest

You have embodied almost all nigeria problem into one post. Well summarised and i think the major problem we are facing is the political are difference.
Old men and woman don't want to give the young people any chance to rule. It really sad and whenever an uprising is about the happen the leaders are bribe and everything die off. I really enjoy your post steem on brother.

corruption keeps on messing with our ethics, thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful write up. Insecurity has been a big problem and it keeps getting worse. We all blame it on bad governance but I feel we all have to play a role in order to make things better. Well-done bro.

Everything you have written about Nigeria is so true. Nigeria is indeed a great place when it's comes to natural resources. God has really blessed this country. When it's come to culture we are the best too.

Truer words have never been spoken, You have highlighted major issues in our country Nigeria, and I hope one day things change for the better. I enjoyed reading through your post.

Best wishes

Yh indeed nigeria has a very great potential, we have everything we need ranging from natural to enormous man power. Nigeria can attain the height of a super nation but we have terrible leadership and we can see the effects on our society. Nice write up.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope we get to see some changes in the leadership aspect soon enough.

Watching Nigeria from outside looks like a masterpiece of art. If I was asked to choose any other country in Africa where I will be it will be Nigeria.

The culture alone in that country moves me to want to be a part of the country.

Just like Ghana, Nigeria is facing a lot of political problem due to the election of wrong leaders and we pray that we get a solution soon..

Nigeria is a wonderful country.

Yes, Nigeria is a wonderful country just with bad leaders been going on around for a while.

I believe bad governance has been a thing with most African countries, I just hope we keep the optimism alive and get to see the change we are all yearning for soon.

The Nigerian culture is really something to behold.
You hardly see a child from Nigeria who doesn't have respect for thier elders.

This is because Respect is one of the fundamental element of any good society.

When is countries youth is respectful towards their elders it inducates good things to come.

Like you said about Nigeria's national resources they are few countries which are more endowed with natural resources as Nigeria.

You go to the south there is crude oil.
You go to the north there is gold.
You go to the east there is coal.

When Nigerians decide to wake up frok thuer slumber the world won't know what got them.

Great content. Security issues is one major issue in most countries. Am sure one day we will overcome this challenge.

That's a great article, the point that you wrote out are all what the country needs to look into. I hope Nigeria will experience a real change that will stabilize the country for the better.

we all hope for a better nigeria someday, thanks for stopping by
