Pulau bunta, pulau kecil yang berada di kecamatan peukan bada aceh besar. Sekarang ini hanya ditempati oleh sebagian warga.
Karena setelah bencana tsunami 2004, warga ada yang tidak berani lagi pulang ke kampung halamannya. Sehingga sekarang ini hanya sedikit yang mau pulang
Namun demikian, sekarang ini setiap hari pasti ada saja otang yang datang ke pulau bunta, baik hanya sekedar untuk bermalam dipantai yang indah, ataupun untuk memancing bagi para pencinta mancing. Sehingga pulau bunta sekarang menjadi ramai dan senang untuk dikunjungi
