Hey Steemit , I am a bit late but here is my Intro

I go by the name bakermaker on Steemit , my birth name would be a little difficult to pronounce by many. I hail from India and am a professional baker. That is me!!

Here is something about me that might inspire you. Post moving to a small town with almost nil job opportunity (I did my masters in Human Resources) , I studied the market and realized that no one made good cakes here. I took what little savings I had, bought an oven and some basic cake pans and started my baking business. I became an entrepreneur in a town where no one knew me.
I opted not to market my cakes by sticking banners and posters, I instead wanted my brand to spread through word of mouth. And this trust me is the best form of marketing as you get quality customers. Below is the image of the very first cake I made.

Now 4 years down I am one of the top bakers in town. I have reached a stage of cancelling orders. This is what I can make today.

It is true when they say that hard work and patience pays. At the start of anything you are never a pro. Its practice that gets you there. No matter how hopeless a situation might seem, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.

I got introduces to Steemit through word of mouth (more specifically through @phoneypictures). Hope this to gets as successful as my business. Nevertheless, I am here to meet more people, get to learn about different art, culture, cuisines and add many more destinations to my travel bucket list.
