Not a white night

Unfortunately, I was late for the white nights. Now they are not as bright as in the middle of June. But that doesn't make them any less interesting, just a little different. After a long stay among nature, it is even more interesting to be in the center of a megalopolis. Apparently this happens in contrast.

For me, the city center is primarily the Palace Square, the Winter Palace and the Neva. Now we are on the banks of the Neva River near the Winter Palace. Neva gives a lot of room for a look. You can see a lot of beauty at the same time. Here you have bridges, and the Arrow of Vasilievsky Island, and the Peter and Paul Fortress - these are only large well-known objects, and how many other small details...

In order to capture as much as possible in one frame, I took several pictures one by one and later collected a panorama of this place. I must say that I like the night view more than the daytime cityscape.

На белые ночи я к сожалению опоздал. Теперь они уже не такие светлые как в середине июня. Но от этого они не становятся менее интересными, просто чуть-чуть другие. После долгого нахождения среди природы оказаться в центре мегаполиса ещё интереснее. Видимо это происходит на контрасте.

Для меня центр города это прежде всего Дворцовая площадь, Зимний дворец и Нева. Сейчас мы находимся на берегу Невы рядом с Зимним дворцом. Нева даёт много простора для взгляда. Ты можешь видеть одновременно много всякой красоты. Тут тебе и мосты, и Стрелка Васильевского острова, и Петропавловская крепость - это только крупные известные объекты, а сколько ещё мелких деталей...

Что бы захватить как можно больше в один кадр я сделал несколько снимков один за другим и позже собрал панораму этого места. Должен сказать, что ночной вид мне нравится больше, чем дневной городской пейзаж.
