When it is about digital art, more precisely photographic manipulation there are some things that in my opinion are very important and definitely enrich the image incredibly. These things are textures and brushes, or images of real paint. I paint and draw and many times in the first steps when I make a background or stain the paper, scan it or take photos to use in my digital arts. And for the textures, I spend hours walking and looking for this in tiles, walls, rusty things or whatever I find interesting.
This work has both and can be seen. That big stain that surrounds the woman was one made with ink on a transparent plastic and the textures that look great around the work is from a photograph to a tile.
This work in digital art version is available at Makersplace
