That for the person he is Russian?

in #story7 years ago

If I live in Russia, then it is quite good to light "The woods and fields". It can be interesting who didn't live here many years as a travel and knowledge which you have through the experience - it doesn't mean that you well know culture and life of people. It is very amusing. By means of a travel it is possible to see only a surface, and living and "surviving" here it is possible to learn much more interesting. So we will begin. And at once I will begin with the main thing not to weary in an expectation and an anticipation. Mentality at the majority the here of people - slavish (Regardless of age as even children are subject to it from parents and social institutes of life) Think not that place. I will try to tell in kratets as it has arisen.

Has begun this way of thinking (slavish) in 1581 in "Ancient Russia" when have cancelled "St. George's day" which allowed to change so to say one "patron" for another "patron". Now peasants became from this point "affixed" to this land, and they were called "lackeys" that is meant by "the slave to a boyar". "Lackey" had no special rights in the relation in the attitude towards itself (himself), it was only a thing of "owner". Belong to his duties: farming, courting behind the territory of the owner, a military duty. Of course, he give the received most part of a harvest to "barin". Of course were discontent among "lackeys", but revolts cruelly punished. Owing to long inaction "lackey" has forgot to think. It by the end of the 18th century became "calculator", that is has been programmed on simple actions. Namely: to listen to "owner" and to do that speak to him. There has come the 1861st year and "Have cancelled slavery". Have cancelled it because, it was zealously wished by liberals and intellectuals. Notice that the people did nothing (in general anything). It was difficult to them to plan something and it is even more difficult - to rally. Idea origin - at everyone "It's not my business - I know nothing". So to say - nothing has become a habit "to do for the good of the future". There were Hikki, those which not leave the houses (roughly speaking). I have forgotten to tell that having cancelled slavery it business hasn't ended. People owed and the family "to redeem" and they had no property. This process was dragged out up to 50 years.

Farther in 1918 - Revolution. Have come "Red with Lenin" nothing without having completed the social ideas, give the power to the dictator Stalin. As soon as people have begun to get rid of this idea "It's not my business - I know nothing" the new trouble has come. And the trouble never come alone. Farther devastation, mass executions dissatisfied, cruel war 1941-1945, and still executions dissatisfied until the dictator hasn't died 1953 the natural death. Before the people were "autistic", but after Stalin's power, became also very "timid". Farther even more interestingly. Have come to power "slow wreckers". They were that during their reign or not the ability to manage (1954-1991) - have achieved nothing, and have achieved that in their territory of board I was created complete outrage. Formation of corruption and gangsterism. Final it has got a form by 1992 and hollowness up to now. From all aforesaid it is possible to draw such conclusion: Russian mix of "slave" + "autistic" + "coward". It of course to belong the most part of the population (on mine to subjective opinion it is about 70-80% of the present population), but not all.

I hope it to you it was interesting. I in details would tell all this, but I don't know whether it will be interesting to you. I wait for comments.

A Russian-speaking person wrote. I hope you understand and you forgive my mistakes in this text.

The aspects you mention are quite important for Russian history, I think, and it IS interesting, thank you!
In 2014, I attended a seminar by Alexei Pavlenko (from Collorado College) about the Russian national idea throughout the history. The title of the seminar was: "Russian Mission, Russian Women (2000-2014)". We examined "notable works of fiction and cinema which became representative in the Russian intellectual landscape since early 2000s", but before, we discussed some basics. About my trip to Ижевск, I agree with you that tourists mostly see a surface. Some things were difficult to understand as a stranger and it is easy to misbehave accidentally because of ignorance of cultural differences. I am curious to read more from you!

Thanks for a response. Next time I'll try and other aspects of Russian life to show you
