PHOTOGRAPHY | A Bunch of Bananas

One of the plants my father planted in the garden next to the house is a banana tree. I found this plant quite a lot in my village, many people plant it only a few trees in the corner of the garden, not as the main plant in the garden, including my father.
This is banana chicken, or "pisang ayam" in our local language. This banana is a little different from other types of bananas because it has a sweet taste. This banana is also often served as a dessert during certain events.

Another reason why my father planted this banana tree is to meet the needs of my mother who takes the leaves every day to decorate cakes, from young leaves to the top. My mother also uses banana leaves to decorate cakes.

The banana I photographed was not very big because it had a mild disease. Usually the fruit is a little bigger and when it is ripe, the fruit will turn from green to yellow.
