Weekly Contest, "Playing photographer #10. Sports Utensils - Peace and war.
I wish everyone only peace!
I called my next post “Peace and War” and I did not compete in this with Leo Tolstoy who called his literary work “War and Peace” because he only wanted to show the drama of the relationship between Pierre Bezukhov and Natasha Rostova and my thoughts were only about peace and war when I started doing a photo shoot of sports equipment similar to what my children receive twice a week at the physical education department at their University.
Yes, I chose chess as sports equipment for my post.
Perhaps this is not the most dynamic game in the physical sense but our brain must be tense and focused because here like any sports game there is victory and there are defeats and there is plenty of drama in a chess game and it gives me the basis for thoughts related to the world and war.
It seems to me that the peace-war sequence rather than war-peace is more dramatic and realistic as the realities of our lives show.
People lived in peace for a long time someone dreamed of becoming a king and became one someone dreamed of becoming a queen or a military commander and also received these benefits of life in peacetime and he could not admit the thought that one day war would begin for him too you will have to forget about a quiet life about dreams of retiring calmly and receiving a high pension that will allow you to live without worries.
So they lay in the box dreaming only about good things but one day someone turned the box over shook out the chess pieces from it the world ended war began!
At that moment everyone had to rethink a lot instead of the smell of barbecue in the country the sounds of explosions the screams of defenseless fellow citizens making difficult decisions.

In war there is always someone who makes the first move wants to deceive the enemy sometimes plays a dirty game but unlike a real war in chess everything is fair and according to strict rules.

Greetings friend @barski. I recently discovered that chess is also a sport and that competitions of this type of modality are organized. I played chess with my brother as a child. But in our own way, no one ever explained to us how to play and we played it our way. In those times we did not have cell phones or internet. I know it is a sport that requires great concentration and skill. Success in the contest. Good day!
