A Little Balance

With everything that is going on with @ned, steemit, lay-off cutbacks, and the holidays closing in on all of us, I am sure that some people are feeling a little bit on the edge. Obtaining and then maintaining that special balance in life can be very hard at time. Maintaining balance when you have a big Loki Cat that like to frap at the most inopportune times can be very hard. But fortunately for me Loki just decided to nap at the top of the stairs and to nor bother me to much. So like the post title says, some photo fun.

The one on the right has flat edges, so it was not very hard to get it balanced, even on the stool that lowers and is scooped toward the center. The one on the left, now that is another story. It is a thin coin/token, and it took some time to find the balance point and spot, but as you can see find it I did.

With the problems of the holidays and the steemit issues, we are all still here and still posting, still chatting and still interacting. It is all a balance, it has been a balance act all year for me, I have gone through times of being very busy with this project or that project this game or challenge and that game or challenge. The thing that has remained constant for me with all the balancing acts, is that it, (steemit), has been and remains a fun system for me. I like it. I hope it will continue.

That's my little very old 'Old Timer' pocket knife. We can take the things that we think are balanced on the edge of the knife and rebance them to either side of the knife. There is no need to fear finding balance. Steemit will find it's balance point and we will find our balance points with steemit, and all of our lives will go on.

Well for what it is all worth that is my effort at putting in my two cents worth concerning the current steemit issues. It also gave me a chance to practice my long exposure photography.

First image: was f/11 at 25 seconds and 100 ISO.
Second one: f/5.6 for 10 seconds and 100 ISO
Important things for me to remember: f/5.6 = sharpest clarity, low ISO = less noise, and bigger number F-Stops = more depth of field.

Also if you are interested, it did snow just a tiny bit last night, outside temperature is 25F, and still no blanket of snow. It is getting colder now though, so that bodes well for avoiding the dreaded freezing rain.
