Color Challenge Friday: Blue Waters of El Nido

This was a very unexpected encounter with a whale shark or "Butanding", how we call it here in the Philippines. We were on our way to an island in El Nido, Palawan when our boatman spotted this gentle giant. Without a doubt my friends jumped off the boat and took the opportunity to have a photo op.

THere is butanding in Palawan? I hope I can see one too.
Yep! Quite unusual right since the butandings are known to be swimming in Oslob, Cebu and in Sorsogon.
I wish we have encountered one too when we went to Palawan :)
