ROADSIDE ASSIST

Barney Bollocks liked riding his Harley D Chopper.
A heavy duty cycle, a very real whopper.
Barney would glide along, light as a feather,
Travelling full speed in all kinds of weather.
When it was rainy and very cold,
Barney wore his jacket back to front scarf in a fold,
“Keep the wind out,” he announced to sundry and all,
“How to keep warm, in weather that does appal!”

On such a day Barney was riding his chopper,
When his wheels hit black ice, and he came a cropper.
The motor bike skidded for many a yard,
Soon a motorist stopped, quite on his guard.

The police and ambulance arrived almost together,
Those First Responders then sheltered from the weather.
The Policeman asked the motorist, whose name was MacGraw,
“Please tell us now all things that you saw.”
“Well, Officer, it was sort of like this,”
“I walked up to the cyclist, who was curled up like a fist.”
“I could see that, by the angle of his head,”
“He must have been quite close to dead!”
“Fear not!” Says I, “I’ll soon put this right,”
“I’ll not desert you, in your sad plight.”
“So I twisted his head until his chin faced the front of his jacket,”
“And then he screamed, Oh, what a racket!”
