“Dummkopf!” Shouted Herr Lumpf in a rage!
“Zat Schweinhund should be kept in a cage!”
“Sayink zat I don’t look after my Frau,”
“Ziss I haf alvays done, including right now!”
Herr Katzenjammer looked out of the window,
He turned to Herr Lumpf, “But vot about kinder?”
“Frau Lumpf vants to haf kinder, nein?”
“In fact, Frau Lumpf vants kinder nine!”
“Und all you do is mess about,”
“Drinkink za beer, und eatink sauerkraut!”
“Vhen vill you live up to your duty?”
“Vhen vill you realize your vife is a beauty?”

Herr Lumpf threw Herr Katzenjammer out.
“Und don’t come back!” He did shout.
After Herr Katzenjammer left,
Herr Lumpf sat like someone bereft.
He was thinking, about what had been said.
The underlying theme, couldn’t get out of his head.

Frau Lumpf came into the room in a rush,
She had been baking, her face in a flush!
“Vot is you doink my dear?”
“Your face, it looks a little queer.”
“I have been thinking, meine liebe,”
“Ja, thinkink about you, meine Qveen of Sheba!”
“Ve should be thinkink of kinder soon,”
“Haffink kinder, vould be a boon!”
