One of the best times of year for me is Christmas. Not because I am religious, (I'm not) but because my family comes together and spends more time celebrating life and relationships. We all seem to think about each other more and make more of an effort to visit.
Life can get so hectic and we need to be reminded that family should take precedence over everything else, no matter how busy we all may be.
All of the Christmas decorations really bring out the festive feeling in me. My son's face light's up when he sees all the illuminations and there is nothing I love more than seeing my son happy! :)
I will leave you with this festive wreath that I saw the other day, one of @nehab's favorite subjects too, berries :)

Christmas will always remain my best season of the year (and for my brother, it's a double celebration because he is Christmas born). Here in Nigeria the mood of Christmas is kinda coming slow this year, though the feeling is already in our mist, but the climate has refused to change completely, normally the harmattan ought to have arrived but it hasn't. I agree with you @beautifulbullies, Christmas is a great period for family reunion. When we were younger, there is this riddle we use to play "Christmas and new year which comes first ". Yeah for an adult it's simple, but back in the days I failed it. Sometimes I wish I could go back to experience Christmas as a child once more.
I know how you feel. It is more magical when you are a child, however once you become a parent, the magic happens all over again through your children! :)

Oh I love this bunch of berries. And with the pine cones it is so wintry, christmasy and festive :) ... Love it. I have suddenly got a craving for cherries, cranberries and strawberries . Awww, me too! I really hope we get snow this year, we haven't had any for the last couple of years. It usually comes in January though, after Christmas, but it is so much fun! :D Thank you for your comment

I know! :D I hope Basil is getting a nice present for Christmas this year, he has been through so much! IN fact I think I will find out where he is and go visit him myself with a bag of carrots...lol Do goats eat carrots? haha :)
Haha he prefers his simple goat food! They can eat carrots but only in batons as they don’t have top teeth and also having two teeth removed he can struggle to chew at times! Basil has a Christmas coat to wear during his training :D I’m also working Christmas Day so he will get lots of treats!
