23-4-22::: The dairy game// A day full of stress (taking care of my brother)
Introduction
Good evening everyone, is my pleasure to give you all details on how I spent my day.
This days life has been so hectic for me, caring for my husband and my younger brother, sometimes I feel so tired that I can't even feed myself.
Just read down you will understand my plight.
Morning Hours
I can say that I do not have upto six hours sleep before morning comes, because I keep on assisting my brother to urinate, as a result of this I wake up so tired.
I don't have anyone to assist me so I have to do my work.
So this morning we had our morning worship that was based on 2Chronicles 14:6 there King Asa made wise use of the time he had peace, King Asa prayed and truly trusted in Jehovah.
I was encouraged by the fact that I should deeply trust in Jehovah not just when I am facing trails.
After that I quickly assisted my brother to the toilet because he's 100% dependant on me.
By 10:am I decided to expose him to the sun to get vitamin D, which is essential for the body and the hair , he had not been out in the sun for two years now that he have been sick.
Some benefits of early morning sun exposure.
It strengthen immune system.
It makes the bone more strong.
It reduces stress.
It helps to regenerate the brain cells.
We spent 20mins outside the sun and I brought him inside and bathe him while he wait for his physiotherapist, I fed him with garri and okra soup.
Then I also prepared garri and soup for my husband as breakfast and boil water for his bathe, all this took my morning hours and I am already tired.
I also need to put the house in order by mopping and cleaning everywhere, create more space for the physiotherapist.
Afternoon Activity
The physiotherapist came in by 1:30pm, my brother was already waiting for him, the physiotherapist took his time to engage my brother in physically exercise, he also educated him on things to do that will help him stand again.
It is not easy at all, life sometimes makes us feel worthless, you can only imagine a young man in his 20s that can't walk or do anything for himself just because of an accident that happened in a twinkle of an eye.
When the physiotherapist left my brother was very weak, I gave him some water and allow him rest.
It was time to take care of myself, I had my bathe and also had my breakfast/lunch and lay down for some minutes to have some rest.
Before you know it it was evening hours.
Evening Activity
I had some dirty clothes to wash so immediately I saw electricity I quickly washed them off to make life easier for me the next day.
I washed the dishes and cleaned up my kitchen, my brother demanded fried potatoes and a bottle of drink for dinner, I quickly rushed out to get it for him.
I fried some chicken pranks for me and my husband as dinner.
That was how my day ended.
He was happy after eating what he demanded.
Conclusion
Honestly it is not easy to take care of sick ones especially in a situation whereby you have no one to assist you, it can be depressing.
But one thing is certain, if you look beyond the stress and focus on how happy the person in question is and what you tend to achieve in the near future, that will keep you going tho it won't be too easy but I always bear in mind that it is an act of kindness.

Thank you dear, I trust Jehovah for my reward because it is not easy at all.
It was really a stressful day for you @beautybb, your stories are so touching, may Jehovah whom you trust give you the needed strength to care for them, he knows how to help his people, do you know that for you to have money to care for them is great blessing from Jehovah?

Its not easy to take care of sick people. But just as you said, their positive attitude reduces their nanny's/guardian stress. @beautybb, relax, God will see you through. Steemalive is proud of you
