SEC14 WK:#6: "Welcome!"

Hello beautiful Steem Kids & Parents, I welcome you all to this great year of more blessings, favor, peace, good health and all good things of life that you may ever desire. I am so delighted to see this new year and also be a member of this great platform. This is my first contest for the year 2024, I hope you find time to read it and also approve it please. So, let's get down with today's contest, welcome. Here is my opinion on the watch word ' welcome".

The word welcome really means a lot to me and the manner in which it is being said or expressed also determines if truly you are really welcomed or not, smiles... Funny but true.
WELCOME is when one is really and truly excited to have you around a home, event or office and so on. The word welcome can easily be said but one can only truly find out if its true by the tone it is being said, the manner, facial expressions or gestures. Their are so many ways to express the word " welcome", of which some are;

Handshakes : this is usually done by the men or guys.

Hugging is another way of welcoming someone.

Smiling face

A peg on both cheeks: this depends on the relationship status / country.

A short walk towards your guest.

A nice soft tone.

The word welcome is used to accept a guest or visitor.

Three instances of welcome:

When a parent(s) just returned home from work, the kids would run to them and say, daddy/ mummy, you are 'welcome' back home.

Instance no two;

You are all welcome to this great steemit plat form on the steem kids & parents community.

Instance no three;

Welcome to Abuja.

I feel so free, relaxed, comfortable and happy when this word is used with the right tone, gesture, manner or facial expression. I also think and hope the other person am using this word for, feels the same way.

Welcome should be used more often because it is the easiest way of approving a guest, visitors or someone in general in our society and just lije I stated earlier, the person in return would feel relaxed and more comfortable. It is also important to teach kids to use this watch word welcome because it is a polite way of accepting someone in our culture. I also think its not just about teaching kids to say the words but also teaching them the right manner of using the word. I am so bent on this because it is very important to me.

Please everyone am a newcomer and am yet to have any pic or anything with my fellow steemians in my city for now but I hope to someday. Thanks

My expectations in this 2024 is to be a strong steemit member and also upgrade myself more everyday on my fitness journey and also see how I can earn more. All this will be achieved through more reading, workout training, meeting new important fitness coaches, write more on steemit and engage in all task.
