A Toast For Christmas 2018

It's almost Christmas eve here in the Philippines. Every Catholic family like ours is busy cooking, baking and rushing in packing their gifts for their loved ones. I'm done doing all that. It's pretty exhausting but I deserve to reap the labor I have been doing for days now.

Here I am having my dinner and a drink to signal the start of a warm night with family. I don't really look forward to anything more. The gifts and material things are just bonuses, just being here and spending quality time with the family is enough for me.

2018 is a tough year, I am looking back to the lessons and experiences this year. I have learned a lot and I am hoping 2019 is a better one. Better days are ahead, thank you 2018 for the blessings and learnings.
