Hi Steemians! Welcome to my blog.

Today, we will tackle photographs and emotions. BAE (Before Anything Else), I wanna say thank you @teamvenezuela for this amazing contest where we can express our emotions with each photograph.

Respect

The first picture was taken last Saturday, June 15th when my manager asked me to join the Pride March as an ally. In my 28th year of existence in this world, this is my first time joining this kind of march. I was so proud to be an ally letting them feel that they were welcome in this world and not taken for granted. LGBTQ people are also humans. They deserve to be treated well and respected. This pride march has more than a thousand joiners including members and allies. The joiners are also working in different BPO endeavors. Below are the companies that joined the parade.

🏳️‍🌈 Parade PFIP Company: ✨

  • Synchrony 🥁🚛 150pax
  • Coca-cola 🚐
  • EXL 🥁 🚐 100pax
  • Dexcom
  • Accenture 🥁 242pax
  • JPMC 200pax
  • Cognizant 🥁 37pax
  • Lexmark 50pax
  • Conduent 🥁70pax
  • OP360 60pax
  • Foundever 🥁 100pax
  • Optum 100 pax
  • Teleperformance 🥁 150pax

Proud Ally

This second picture shows a banner handed by my associate written with “Proud Sa Ato” which translates to English as “Proud To Us”. In this world full of judgments, I want them (LGBTQ members) to feel that we are so proud of them. No matter who you are, we are all humans. Being a part of this community is not your fault or intentional. The “Proud Sa Ato” banner tells you that you are seen, recognized, and loved.

Happy | Overcoming Fear

[Ice Skating in SM Seaside]

The next day, we celebrated “Father's Day”. Since I was not with my family, I joined the family of my friend to celebrate the important day of our beloved fathers. We went to the largest mall in our city, SM Seaside. We enjoyed the moment on the ice skating while the kids were having fun in Sky Hall. This was my first time skating on the ice. At first, I thought it was easy, but when I stepped on the ice, it felt like I could not stand alone and I needed something I could hold on to. I tried to be independent but could not. I was so happy because every time I went to SM Seaside, I was only watching people skating and hoping that one day, I would be able to join them. And it happened. I was happy because I was able to overcome one of my fears - Labiturphobia.

Thank you for visiting and reading my blog. Happy Pride Month.

I wanna invite @marzyoung22, @fersonjase and
@jes88 to join the contest.
