The Swing House: Updates on my tiny house project
My tiny house project began with the concept of the porch swing as the focus. The design of the house is very simple, yet allows for some very great things to happen. The roof can be used to plant veggies and herbs and it also holds solar panels.
My hope is that this house will take advantage of any recycled materials we can find. The cost of building should be no greater than 10,000 not including the cost of solar panels, which eliminate energy costs completely in such a small house.
The next stage will be to develop the plans and construction documents. I am not shy about sharing the design with people looking to seriously build a tiny house!

Love love love this design!! I'm planning a tiny house on wheels because I want to travel, but your version looks cozy and fun and the swing is an amazing addition. How far along are you on the project?
