Greetings my fellow steemers and welcome to the Golden age of Piracy. First of all i wanna thank @marcosdk for creating the contest and bringing the facinating palette of ideas to our growing community. This time i wanted to experiment with all kind of prompts and i could say that the first two pics i created are made for a cover for a pirate movie, but i couldn't decide which is better. I hope you would let me choose.

The Golden Age of Piracy
The golden age of piracy is believed to have begun in the mid 1680's when the last buccaneers disappeared from the Caribbean. The period of 1689 to 1718 is widely regarded as the ‘Golden Age of Piracy’, as successful pirates were able to prey on merchant vessels in order to make a living. Join me back in time in 1715, when pirates established a lawless republic in the Caribbean and ruled the land and seas, rippling naval forces, halting global commerce and looting immense riches.

Last but not least i wanna say that i got inspired making all of this digital art because i used to play a lot of assassin's creed 4 black flag as a kid and i decided to take this contest more serious but doing it the nostalgic way. I hope you like my concepts. I so wanted to add Edward Kenway (the protagonist of the game), but it i already had a movie cover hehe.
