MY DIARY BETTER LIFE WITH STEEM - LOVELY DAY WITH MY KIDS by @benton3

Hello fellow steemians, how are you all doing? Hope we are having a great day. It is somgood to be back in this great community. I am writing my diary for 17th July, 2021.

My day began as I woke up from sleep by 5am in the morning. I said my prayers and got up to do some chores. The children also woke up, and we did our family morning worship. Once we were through with that, my wife @ngoenyi left for Aba, for a meeting with fellow steemalive coordinators.

As she left, we did some cleanups and had our breakfast. After that I focused on completing one of the homework tasks 0f crypto academy, it really took my time, but I was able to complete and submitted before cut off time.

Later on I had some time with kids, they decided to paint, and encouraged them to do that. We did some painting.

What were some of the things need for the painting? We bought

● Paint Brushes

● Water Paints

● Coloured pencils

● Eraser

● Cardboard Paper

My daughter decided to paint a sunset. So she sets off doing that.

1. She cut of a sizable piece of white cardboard paper.
2. Drew a round shape for the sun.
3. Next, she drew two trees while the sun is in the middle.she decided to paint the trees black, according to her, she said that during sunsets, tress have a dark colour. She painted the background with yellowish orange colour, just like during sunset.

She put in so much enthusiasm and passion in the drawing and painting and I appreciated her for that.

My Son also did justice to painting as well. He painted a very emotional piece of work. Something he has not done for quite sometime now

How did he do his own drawing

1. First, he drew two mountain one on either side of the cardboard paper.
2. Hw now drew a stream of water running through the two mountains.
3. The next thing he did was to paint the stream in between the two mountain, he also painted the environment green.
4. Finally, he now wrote that wonderful piece.I ♡ DAD*

After the painting, he tried out his chef cloth at a tailors place. He will be using it to practice cooking during his school's graduation that will be taking place this coming Thursday.

After doing all this, we decided to have our lunch. The lunch was made up of bean moimoi and veggies toppled with salad cream.

I did not go out at all on Saturday, I cherished each moment I had with them at home. We finally watched some programs on the television and retired to bed to hve a wonderful night rest.
