I am building a few things for the Steem blockchain at the moment.

  • A free public GraphQL API with generous limits (allows you to query the Steem blockchain using GraphQL queries). There will be a paid option for any apps that want to use it for large-scale activities.

  • A CLI driven framework for creating front-end Steem blockchain applications. Allows you to pull in and configure pieces you need to build Steem applications; auth, persistence, state management, API logic, querying and more.

  • A decentralised cooking platform built on Steem that will eventually reward participants with a custom SMT for participating.

All of this will be out in 2019.

Looking forward to seeing your GraphQL implementation.

Cheers, @berniesanders I've got it working for the reads no problem, it's the process for allowing people to authenticate and perform mutation based actions (upvotes, flags, comments, new post) that I am still working on.

@beggars I'm looking forward for cooking platform! I'm already following your profile and I'm looking forward for more details!

Now on @mysteempl, together with @see-it-feel-it we're building a website and preparing video tutorials for new members of our community.

The goal of the MySteem Project is promoting Steem in mainstream (FB, YT, Instagram, Google) and gaining new users of our platform. Cooking is my passion, so I hope that some of them will use your platform.

If you have a moment to take a look, you can find more details about the project by clicking HERE

A cooking platform? Interested. Food is awesome, blockchain food may be awesomer.

Don't know if this'd be of interest https://busy.org/@dtaste

work on lots of stuff related the steem but the main focus is ondPoll.

I've been running a project called steem late vote explorer for nearly a year now, here is the latest update.

It was originally inspired by your bounty to make a program for @abusereports. It started taking its own direction and is now designed as a monitoring tool for late votes. It has a GUI file explorer type viewer, and various pie charts to display the data you collect.

We are building Dporn as you are probably aware. Beta site is now up.
Also with tumblr banning all porn content maybe the Steem blockchain can fill in the void. Who knows.

Nice to hear that, there will be alot of porn lovers ;)

We agree!

Hopefully dporn can replace Tumblr's amateur porn.

Yes, we hope to add that in shortly due to the demand for it.

We are creating a raffle bot where the winner gets a 100% upvote. Our power isn't much right now ,but we are good for minnows to get a nice small healthy upvote. Someday, if we get more SP , we hope to have the upvote be $1,$5 per win. We are powering up ever 2.5 hours so each round is a bigger upvote over time.

That's a cool idea. I build a free lottery account (@we-are-lucky) with about 5K SP as part of my @we-are project. He's probably the most popular upvote on the whole @we-are system :)

I made something... oh wait you said sonething cool 😞. I am working on a project with someone else and I have made All Posts and Beneficiary Posting you can read a bit about allposts on my steempress blog at Here

We're building a DApp for Steemit Open Mic, a community of live musicians on Steemit that has been running for 114 weeks now. @prc from DSound is helping us build it.

I'm told Open Mic is the longest running weekly contest on the platform. Don't know if that's true or not but that's what people say. Lots of other contests have copied almost exactly what we did with Open Mic. Currently, Open Mic is sponsored by some top witnesses. My goal is to create the DApp and advertise it to musicians and sponsors outside of Steemit to bring in more users and more investment to Steem.

I'm also working on a new site that will make it easier for people to find active communities on the blockchain based on topics they are interested in. It will make it easier to sort through posts compared to a long feed of mixed topics like we have now. The goal is to get people involved with active communities around topics they are interested in sooner after signing up, keeping them involved before they lose focus and interest. Right now we have a problem with retaining people in part because they get lost in the mix before finding support from those with common interests. I'm building a site to help retain them by finding commonality with others on the platform.

music is definitely a huge internet growth ticket, nice idea

trying to get older users to go and welcome some newbies to the platform - i even feckin offered 1SP per comment and still only got 5 takers :/

might as well try and welcome some new cats, i remember getting some encouragement when i joined and i am still here..

@kiwiscanfly I took part in your offer, but my good intentions went south fast after a, saw a terrible intro rewarded over 125 bucks bc it's so important for those people to feel like winners I wonder how many decent people creating great things here could've used that money. She was also delegated 500 SP. It's difficult to play nice or be welcoming when i see such blatant circle jerking and recruiting for initiatives here. Grrrrr, so part of my building a sense of community I answered above with is exposing these ridiculous frauds...

@kiwiscanfly we also believe that one of the most important things for the network are new users.
That's why together with @see-it-feel-it we're building a website and preparing video tutorials for new members of our community.

I am about to launch our first version of the BRO Sports & Gaming Network. The idea is to have a website that’s run as an actual business where people can play a variety of games, read sports and gaming articles, become credentialed real-world sports/gaming reporters and columnists, and/or advertise with us on-site. We’re going to actually market off-chain, where real people might see and be interested in the site and content. (A novel concept, isn’t it?)

We’re going to do some testing and should have an alpha release for our website within the next week or two. It hasn’t been easy, since sports aren’t supported much here on Steem/Steemit and since I’m apparently a pariah that’s mostly not worthy of supporting or helping. But we build anyway.

We’re looking for sponsors, affiliates, and advertisers for the site, if you’re interested. Feel free to contact me if you think you’d like to be involved.

gaming is huge, great idea
