Hah, nice meme! I actually don't know who it refers to, because I deliberately try not to care about knowing such things and just focus on my own writing & enjoyment of the platform. But I was the top earning author, I would keep quiet, try not to draw attention to my profits, and enjoy the success while it lasts. A person's 15 minutes of fame only last so long, after all.
I think the idea of flagging to compensate for over-rewarded posts is good on paper, but is failing Steemit as a concept in action. It's too difficult for so few people to do so consistently. We need an amicable discussion to reach a solution we can all agree with.
