Tupare Garden - A Lovely Stop in the North Island of New Zealand (Aotearoa) Part 1
Tupare Garden is on a 3.6 hectare section , located in New Plymouth , Taranaki on the west coast of the North Island. Whether you go there to see all of the different flowers , or if you just want to spend a bit of quiet time in nature , and a walk or a sit down by the river can be quite relaxing. In any case I think any of the above is time well spent.
More information on Tupare can be found here : Tupare Garden . A map of the garden itself can be found on that page under the Explore Tupare tab.
Here are a few photos I've taken on a recent visit there.
I've just learned right before doing this post there is even a wiki for Tupare (who knew? :) ) , but also more interestingly that Tupare was one of the four public gardens that was part of the original Garden Festival in New Plymouth according to the wiki. I'm not exactly sure when the Festival was started , but now they have a lot of (public and private) gardens to be seen in a wide area around the region. There are a lot of nice gardens to be seen in that one. I'll have to post some photos from our most recent visit to the gardens in the last Garden Festival. Until then , I hope you enjoy these :)
Beautiful flowers and nice environment!
Thanks for the comment. :) And yes it is quite a nice place to be.
You're welcome! :)
