BABY'S FIRST RIDE

Yesterday after my husband left for work, I made myself busy with the household chores. I was shocked when I saw him at the gate after an hour. I really thought that he made it to the office then went back because he isn’t feeling well. But that is not the reason why he went home. It is because he was not able to find a ride going through his office. He said that the traffic was really heavy that is why most of the vehicles were trapped. He also said that the reason for the heavy traffic was because of the vehicular accident. A big truck fell down in the middle of the street blocking down the driveway.

In order to make his time worthwhile and more productive, he decided that he would just go to the SSS (Social Security System) and update his information status and also get an Identification Card. In his SSS file, he is still single and the company asked him to update his status. He had done updating his Philhealth information through his company. Unfortunately, the company would not also update his SSS status with the help of his company. So, he did it on his own.
Luckily, there is a new SSS branch inside a mall near us. He asked me to go with him and so I did together with our baby. When we reached there, we were shocked because there are many people even if it was Wednesday. We asked the guard some instructions and requirements on the process of updating his SSS file. We asked for priority number and unfortunately, it was number 90 and the number that was serving at that time was still number 18. So, we decided we’ll just come back later and stroll on the mall for a little while.

We saw this ride on the mall. It was very attractive because of its color. When my son saw it, he immediately asked us to ride on it. So, we did as we have plenty of time yet. I was just shocked with the prize of it which is Php50 for 5 minutes. How expensive it was! But since my child really wanted it and it will be his first time, we decided to let him experience it. He really enjoyed driving it together with his father. It has nursery songs too that made it more wonderful for kids to ride. I am just glad they were able to spend quality time together.

All in all, it was still a productive day for him even with his absence from work because of traffic.
