#ULOG 14: MY FATHER-IN-LAW GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT

This was supposed to be very long weekend for my husband and I because he does not have a work since tomorrow. I had planned out our 3 days vacation. Unfortunately, we heard a very bad news few hours ago.

When my husband dropped his work bag in the couch, his phone rang. He checked the phone and realized it was his sister calling. His faced brightened. I knew how much he missed his family. He pressed the answer button and then right then and there his faced become so worried, afraid and sad.

His sister told him that their father have been on an accident while driving in the influence of an alcohol. Luckily, it was not fatal and managed to reached the house. But then, his middle foot finger had been cut off. They were all shocked and nervous and doesn't know what to do so they called for us.

My husband advised them to bring my father-in-law to the hospital. They wanted to but can't. No one would bring them because it would be hard to carry him in a motorcyle. He's quite a big man and in the influence of an alcohol. They said they called for an ambulance. We told them what to do as first aid. They did as what we've told them.

Few minutes later, we heard the siren on the other line. We decided to end the call and just asked for updates. They updated us few minutes after that. They said that he was sent to the hospital for a doctor to see him but was the released after the X-ray was done on his foot. They were told to come back on Saturday in order for them to stitch it. They say that it can't be stitched yet because he is in the influence of an alcohol and cannot sign papers.

We were planning to come home tomorrow to see and know how and what did really happen.
