ColorChallenge - Monday Red - Red Berries Of The Garden

These berries were strewn about the green ground today as I worked about, caught my eyes attention so much so, I decided to snap some close ups of some hanging berries.

Need to pull out my Peterson Field Guide of Edible Wild Plants I purchased a long time ago in preparation for some crazy event... lol In case I needed to suddenly forage for food..

Anyways, after reading through I was unable to determine the exact plant this is... based solely upon looking at these photos I took today of dried out berries. I will need to examine the leaves of this shrub, and stems to make a better determination.

High Bush Cranberry, Common Barberry, American Mountain Ash.. all very similar in appearance.
