Homeowners stealing

So I do repairs, on all sorts of properties, some worth millions, and some not so much. Today I was in a bad part of town, and have been trying to help out this older lady, but her son is just using her. Well I dropped off 2 brand new faucets, and had a plumber meeting me there. I had a call and had to leave about 15 min before him. Well he gets there and calls to ask where the faucets were. I left them under the sink for you. They weren't there, and the kid was like I don't ever remember them. So I hung up and called his mom, and said I had left them there, and that her kid had taken them. A miracle happened, because they magically appeared back from the back of the house. I just don't believe people sometimes, you are trying to help them and they are stealing stuff.
