Well it has come, and it has gone. Thanksgiving is over, and the Christmas madness has started. But here is a quick update on the Turducken. So It took me about 1.5 hours to construct it, now knowing how it is done, could do it in about 45 min. ![20181121_170500.jpg](back of my truck, because the recipe said it would have to cook for 11 hours, but that was not the case. Here is the progression 20181122_073522.jpg 20181122_095854.jpg

At the 3 hour mark, I went and helped my wife with something, thinking I had at least 5 hours left. I came back, and the internal temp was 200 degrees, I was going for 165. It got way over done, and I am not sure how the time was so different, maybe because the smoker cooks faster? So we still ate it, inside meat was fine, but the outside was pretty dry. So I will only cook it next time for like 3.5 hours at 350, or mess with it and cook it at a lower temperature. Here is a cut picture.

Still waiting on that address

But I will need you to send 19.99 for shipping.

All things considered, it sounds like it wasn't so bad. I think most people have a decent chance of burning their turkey just by baking it in the oven. Good job on trying something new! How was the taste?

It tasted good, just the top was pretty dry. I thing I am done with the oven for the turkey, the smoker is the way to go.

It was like a desert on the white meat.

There was no oasis in site

Wow! It looks yummy. Weldon

O it was well done, It was still good, but got cooked too long

Got the timing down for next time. Hopefully it will be better.

Either will go low and slow, or just watch the time better.

It's absolutely delicious looking!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
