THE POWER OF SILENCE

Hello Parishioners of steemchurch , peace be with you all

One thing that I @bigssam believes in is group work and togetherness . People may have build a stronger community that they may think can stand on their own. But hey let me tell you when others help you to see you see far. #Steemchurch call upon all his members to vote and help win the 20K steempower . Quite recently one old parishioner we started steemchurch contact me and asked of this question;

When we started steemchurch , at least if you contribute dearly you will also receive some rewards but after a long break back things has change

Is he right YES But do you know the major cause..? Our number has increased. Due to this @Sniffnscurry can't vote all of us every time. The time is back here with us to make sure we secure this 20K steempower delegation and I personally hope this will be a very good news for us all.

Many are those that keep silence over things for it is precious to act that way.

Job 34:29
"When He keeps quiet, who then can condemn? And when He hides His face, who then can behold Him, That is, in regard to both nation and man?"

Silence is always key to mans life. According to the Scriptures , Pilato, was able to Judge Jesus Christ only when He breaks silence, upon all the trails that men sent Him through, He was not found guilty of His accusations until he breaks His silence.

Many times we us Christians needs to be silence of certain acts. The Bible also tells us that Sampson was defeated only when he breaks his silence to his wife . Mankind can't be trusted with our words and for that matter there is a need for us to be silence before man and not God.

In Akan dialect , there is a story named "Mponsa Ntiamoah". This man was very poor and couldn't even afford a decent meal. For this reason, one day this man sat down and shave his hair leaving three group hairs for which each have a meaning.

• The first one means "Aniwa nnim awereho" meaning there is no shame in times of difficult.

• The second one means "Obanoma nnsen obapa" meaning step son/daughter can never be better than Biological daughter/son.

• The third one means "wo nya asem a, nka nkyere so yere" meaning never trust your wife with your secret .

In Akan community , Kings are trust with a lot of wisdom so this man went to the King and on one condition . If the King is not able to explain his cut , he will collect food from him, but if the King is able to explain the cut then the King should behead him. The King agreed his terms . The King and his elders struggled on many times without getting the meaning of the cuts. One day , one of the elders came with a plan to go and bribe the wife to deceive the husband for the meaning of those cuts.

The wife succeeded and later informed the King. The day scheduled for their meeting came and as the man was openly waiting for the King in the public under a hot sun he fell asleep.

The King finally came and do you know one thing that day the man came with a piece of cloth rapped around his private part. This cloth belongs to the step son and as soon as the son saw the cloth with the father , he came and took it off in the public.

Finally the King came and this time he was able to explain the meaning of the cut. Afterwards, the King gets to realize that all what the man said was true. His secret was revealed as soon us he breaks the silence with the wife.

Fortunately for the man, the King saw that he is very intelligent and therefore included him to his cabinet members .

Silence is Gold , so us Christians we need to learn how to keep things from man and trust it with God for it is only within Him we can find refuge.
