Will The Bitcoin Torch Burn Out?
What started as a wonderful project might be coming to its end soon as Lightnings torch has recently been passed on.
This kind of still shows how early stage bitcoin and even more so the lightning network are.
The lightning network while a great project and has allowed bitcoin to grow and transact more still shows issues. That one glaring issue, the complexity of adding the lighting network to their own systems for business.
In place of it most people have been using an easier to setup version called bluewallet which is a "custodial" wallet system.
The other limit on lightning hard coded at around $170 which was put in place for safety reasons.
The question now is once we hit this limit what will happen?
Will lightning get an update , will a new torch be born or will it fizzle and die out ?
If there is one thing I have learned from the cryptocurrency sphere is that it never dies out ;)
Honest question to you. Are you still buying bitcoin?
If so do you buy it daily, weekly monthly ?
I think it will be updated as the use cases for it can expand beyond small purchases and could be used for small remittances which exceed those amounts. Not buying but holding through it all!

When there is a will there is a way and with bitcoin and lightning the will is strong I have faith in them to keep it going and continue to build.
