Titleless

I know of a girl
Skin, like that of melted chocolate
Heart, of gold
She gives generously

She loves wholeheartedly
An embodiment of happiness
A spreader of joy and gladness
Positivity is her watchword
Negativity, she steers clear from
"Oh she's never going to go far"
"Oh, she won't amount to nothing"
Men cried
Giving her tags which were not hers
Words hurled that could break her back
In all these, she came out stronger
All the words thrown, she rose above
Letting none of them define her purpose
"I can only be myself, everyone else is taken"
She often said
Soon, very soon, her story would be told
Of an unusual girl who norms of society, she broke
It won't happen in a day
But trusting the process, eventually the world shall know
With little strides, her mark she would leave
In the hall of legends, her name all would read
"Imput any name here"
And those who laughed
Believers they would become at last!!!
