Pied-Bellied Shieldtail Snake

Pied-Bellied Shieldtail Snake is a less beautiful snake than others i aforementioned.This type of snake is not colorful nothing but having combination of black and white.This kind of snake is grey-black in color of it's whole body including head.But the abdomen of this species is white.Some of this species bellied is pied.It has a shield like tail which it uses as a weapon of self-protection of predators.Pied-Bellied Shieldtail Snake is non-venomous and burrowing.This kind of snake is generally found in the underground in India and Srilanka.

It is said that this snake consumes mainly earthworms but very few researches claiming this fact.It is one of the smallest snake in the world.It highly grows 2.5 feet long. But more often are much smaller, with full grown snakes sometimes no longer than eight inches.
