Acer Predator Helios, for the gamer who never has to ask
At the Next @ Acer global conference in New York, Acer presented two new Predator Helios gaming notebooks , both with innovative technologies and designs.
Predator Helios 700 offers a HyperDrift keyboard capable of sliding forward, thus increasing the flow of air passing through the top of the base and allowing players to make the most of their computer.
In the new Predator Helios 700 we find Intel Core i9 processors up to the ninth generation , Nvidia RTX 2080 or 2070 Max-Q GPUs , up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory and Killer DoubleShot Pro network connectivity with Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX 1650 and 3000.
The display is a 17-inch Full HD with a response time of only 3 ms and Nvidia G-Sync technology. Five speakers and a subwoofer guarantee an unprecedented audio experience and make the games even more engaging.
Cooling integrates CoolBoost technology and is guaranteed by two fourth-generation Acer AeroBlade 3D fans , five copper heatpipes and a steam chamber. Thanks to the HyperDrift technology mentioned above, sliding the keyboard frees up two additional ventilation grilles positioned above and below the screen, which allow the powerful components to be cooled inside the base with an extra air flow, making them so make the most of it.
The keyboard also features an RGB backlight for key , anti-ghosting and WASD MagForce keys , which use analog switches to increase feedback up to 100% to give players more control over precision movements.
The Turbo and PredatorSense buttons offer full control of your system: with the first, overclocking is activated by simply pressing a button, while the second allows immediate access to a screen that collects the CPU and GPU temperatures, the rotation speed of the fans, the custom setting of the RGB backlight and much more.
The Predator Helios 300 has instead been redesigned and now has an elegant and modern design; is equipped with GPUs up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 with Max-Q design or with the latest GeForce GTX GPUs, while maintaining an affordable price. Thanks to the high-end hardware, it is suitable for processing complex tasks such as games, video streaming and photo editing.
With a latest-generation Intel Core processor , a maximum of 32 GB of DDR4-2666 memory and up to two PCIe NVMe SSD storage units in RAID 0 plus a traditional hard drive, it provides all the power gamers need for Today's triple A games.
The most evident novelty of this Predator Helios 300 is the design : the very thin frames around the display and the 4 redesigned Predator-style keys give this notebook a modern and elegant but at the same time aggressive look .
The 15.6 or 17.3 inch IPS Full HD screen offers an update frequency of 144 Hz and guarantees a response time of only 3 ms , to ensure a free and uninterrupted gaming experience.
