Midnight In the Garden of Good and Evil

I was busy yesterday, after my weekend on Cape Cod!

The View Of My Table Top Garden

I spent some time, last week, getting the soil in some pots, ready. Mixing in some peat, some new soil, and some compost.

After letting it all come together it's ready for some plants.

In the back row, from left, San Marzano Plum Tomato, Julliette Gold (cherry tomato), Red Grape and Golden Grape (2 types of grape cluster tomatoes)

In the middle row: Red Romaine Lettuce, strawberry planter with black Basil (sweeter, lighter taste) and two types of Greek Oregano, Sweet Yellow Pepper, and Black Amethyst Sweet Pepper (dark, almost purple sweet pepper).

Front row: Butter Crisp lettuce, Greek Oregano

Each week or 10 days upcoming, on the table top, I'll add another one of those rectangular planters of butter crisp lettuce. It works out to be the right time frame for mid summer thru end of September/early October for us for out salads. Plus, we use the butter crisp lettuce for some meals instead of a taco shell, wrap, etc.

This is the table top garden.
I still have my raspberry bush, (now about the size of my car), chives, Greek oregano brought over from the motherland by my grandfather, basil, cilantro, thyme, parsley, and some hanging strawberry pots.

Always, I strive to give back
To the animals and birds around me
to put more plants in than I take out
And be a good steward for the world around me!

Ooh nice work there sir, making sure that everything came together so beautifully! Loving the sound of everything apart from the evil tomatoes! I'd love to raid your raspberry patch! What is the Greek oregano good with?

Looks yummy! I've always wanted to make a patio garden. I have peas and cucumbers in a pot now. Thanks for sharing on #pypt

Nice one. Easy meal access all day.

Cape cod sounds like so nice I don’t know why!
I heard you on the @pypt just now and decided to look and live the little pots and garden. I tried but those small bugs and animals are it

There's always room for a tiny garden someone. Even if it's a front porch, or back steps. Those tiny rectangles of lettuce are easy, or I'll post later pics of my hanging strawberry planter.

Maybe i Will, i send another steemian Some flower steeds maybe i Will start too

That is a wonderful little garden! And to have the "Greek oregano brought over from the motherland by your grandfather" is such a very special thing! How fabulous! 😃 I've never heard of a Black Amethyst Sweet Pepper, but it sounds very intriguing! I love how you always bring new knowledge to us in PYPT each week! 💛

i love finding new plants, to put in.

I almost freaked out. I thought I was having the most vivid deja vu. Then I realised I saw this in the morning pypt too :D

I have always thought about gardening, but I really am not sure if I am capable of handling the responsibility
