PROUDLY BLACK, PROUDLY AFRICAN
To spell on my identity
My pen keeps dripping
My ego is as vivid as the sky
As noble and lofty as my culture
My colony is ever proud in plain view
I'd never educe nor invent egoism
Prevail upon or not, racism I repelled
The wreath lied on my skin is divine
With coloured skin and primordial intellect
Proudly black, African and Nigerian I remain!
