Home-In-Steading: Seperating the Sexes

Hi-Oh!

This will be a quick post as a follow up to my last post Rabbits Make way for the New Arrivals.

This post/ vlog is about figuring out which bunny was the female and which bunnies were the 3 males.

Enjoy this short how-to video on how-to figure it out.

Video courtesy of @allforthegood. Without her, Bluer Than Green would have horrible pictures and zero graphics.

Separating the Mamma Bunny, nick-named "Snowie", from her litter was an easy distinction.

She was the biggest one!

Separating her bunnies required the Google search.

Thanks Google!

Having smart phones and access to Google makes homesteading so much easier.

In the separating and rehousing effort, Snowie was reunited with Buck, her long lost hubby. It took Buck all of 3 seconds to get back to the bidness at hand.

For this cause, I wanted to get the younger males away from their mom and sister and to keep Buck away from his daughter.

Useful information. I'll remember that when I see a rabbit scurrying around in my backyard. I don't think I'll be picking it up and inspecting its anatomy, though!

Let's just put all this into a box called 'Stuff I Didn't Really Want to Know'

Well I think I'll classify that as humourous for sure!
