WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO GROW AS A MINNOWS? A QUESTION FOR ALL.

Hey Steemians, trust you are doing absolutely great over there, I'm pretty looking good this moment to let us all discuss something on minnows growth in our community.
Someone I really respect having him all around me stated something last night and I quote;

"Minnows hold so much power, one day a minnow will become a whale."

I am actually not just seeing things the way other people do see it because I have my things from another angle which most people may not actually agree with, I see steemit as a families association that each family members is entitled to help other family members for the development of the entire family.

I learnt that asking minnow start from 500 SP which is more likely for someone that is yet to discovered his or her self from different niche may probably have a problem of posting and commenting which only need someone to put through, I know it is very easy to mentor but it's not encouraging for mentee not to yield to mentor's advice which always got some mentors mad.

Recently, I discovered something's that minnows are battling with and are yet to get over it which is probably keeps them from growing on this community.

At this point i will love to share some tips that some minnows are to be very careful of doing that will always keep them growing and perhaps wake them up from their slumbering over getting bored.

STEEMIT REPUTATION

I trust we all know reputation is what we are well known for, most of people build their reputation to repute their esteem and to let people conferred in them as a trustworthy on their blog and the person with the good reputation is going to get introduced to lots of people with a positive referral.
The person with the bad reputation won’t get those positive introductions.

The other time when I mentioned about "STEEMIT"

I said , "It's a family consists of different people round the globe".

The person with the good reputation might have someone speak up on their behalf during a hiring process (This actually happened on @maryfavour AMAWED PROJECT when @surpassinggoogle spoke up on @maryfovour behalf before she responded to the questions asked). The person with the bad reputation might have someone speak up against them during a hiring process. (The person with no reputation won’t have anyone speak up for them at all.)

A good reputation is valuable. It’s something you’re going to want on your side. It will create bond, communication, connection ahead of now, it will makes people eager to learn/ read something new from you.

Note; Not because they see your post as the most inspiring but it's what you have created between you and peoples minds.

How Do You Build A Good Reputation?

Many people do not have much reputation at all. Sure, some people have already done exceptional things and have a bit of a positive things here which skyrocket their reputation, and others may have done some silly things during commenting on others steemians blog and developed a bit of a negative one by being flagged. There is always a chance to improve your reputation.

So, how do you do that? I’ve found that there are somethings anyone can do to move their reputation in a positive direction on STEEMIT.

YOUR POST

Here, we have different opinions on others post while learning from them. Some may find it inspiring ,educative, motivating and upvote your post for getting something new from you while some will ignore it or just put "Good" in the comments box which may be uncomfortable for the steemian user.

There are two things involved in having a good comments on other steemians account, some "red fish'" are out there to curate your work from seeing your comment on others post, some are out there

YOUR FOLLOWERS

Steemit is like a family community, giving help and support wholeheartedly from sharing your thoughts about what you want others to learn from you.
Your followers are following you for some reasons , some are just there as a "ghost follower" and stay inactive just to let you have numbers of followers, while some are there to look up to your post on their trending or feed section which is likely to check your blog and upvote your post by gaining from your ideologies and learning a new things from you.

YOUR UPVOTES AND WORK

This section speaks alot on your work, and depends on your curators. There are many curators who are willingly to give out cents out of theirs which moves nothing from them.
Some days ago, I was having a conversation with someone I introduced to steemit, when I was lecturing him I told him some FAQ about steemit.

It's not actually, fast paying initiative, you learnt something new everyday , create a bond between you and your readers.
Don't have the money mind, if you have it, you might get bored and leave the community while you lose at both ends (The money you are after and the bond you are to create).

I showed him some people's work and what they earns on steemit to avoid being one sided, immediately I showed him this , I proceed to tell him more about upvotes as I was taught by @hournamaus that it's not about those that are following you and your working efforts , it only depends on your work, tags, your followers, prayer, and how interested people are on your work to gain upvotes. In this process, I showed him someone with over 2000+ followers with low upvotes($3.34) and someone with 300+ followers with ($345) upvotes to see the differences.

DAYS AND TIME TO PUBLISH POST

Although, I am new on steemit and I have my reputation crawling , I have spent time observing how this community moves and I'm yet to fully understand it, I have observed some things which I don't know perhaps it only occur to only me or I am seeing it from the wrong side of view.
I discovered that Friday's are worst day out of the week and Sundays use to be the best days to post and have a good upvotes, because some curators who wills to curate your work may have a very tight schedule during the working days, and will want to have some rest on Friday.
And it does depend on the time of posting, it seems posting around 2:00 - 4:00 GMT is a good time to post and have people check out your blog on STEEMIT as trending posts are been published before that hours or after that time.

ORIGINALITY OF POST AND REFERENCING PICTURES

Steemians feel comfortable to read original post from your blog. Make your posts original work of yourself, it will increase your reputation and a chance of winning many steemians mind , many will love to read from your post almost when they are online to check their feeds, duplicate contents may see you being flagged, and reaping rewards is from your originality.

Using of pictures on STEEMIT is highly recommended by steemians, it must be original picture of urs and if gotten from internet, it's presentable to reference the source.
Adding catchy pictures on ones post do interest steemians to open your post which will increase your upvote and the picture will speaks for your work before knowing the contents of your work.

STEEMIT TAGS

It is very advisable to be mindful of the tags ones attached to a post, some curators are fond of upvoting the popular tags, so choosing tags that corresponds with your post is very important , misuse of the tags may get you out of the track because misuse of tags results to being flagged.

Your contribution is much more welcome and I will be glad to see your opinions on this post.

I Stand To Be Corrected.

Thanks

I remain you humble little boy @bollutech
