Diary Game of Sunday 18/06/2023: Impactful Church Service

Good morning everyone I’m hoping ya had a good night and you wake up with the same joy as I. Here’s how I spent my Sunday with Mi familia, stay tuned and enjoy.

How My Day Was

_{bright day right but a little cloudy}

I went Upstate for weekend and the whole family was there, I had 3 cousins who came for holidays, and turned the house into a Chinese Parliament 😅 but it was fun to see everyone smiling and the baby too was having fun with them all. So I settled in and joined the crew.

Saturday night passed and Sunday morning came and it was a service day at Church so we all woke up early that’s at 7am, did the necessary house chores. Since they were so many others at home, I was in charge of the heavy stuff like lifting jugs, and all that.

The ladies were in charge of washing the plates and cleaning the kitchen all the things they do best.
After a while preparing we all had to bath and get dressed for service which is to start at 9am and we all rushed and got ready and started our trip to Christ Embassy Bluemoon Upstation and we were early.

While in Church, the Pastor made a lot of point about the life of a Christian which raised up my spirit, the main Pastor wasn’t around but the service felt so powerful still.

He spoke of how the life of a Christian should be on earth making us know that we can’t be like they who dwell on the earth. After a powerful sermon, which lasted 1 hour, we shared the grace and ended the service at 11:30am. Though the service was over, the spirit of fellowship still dwelled among us and it felt like we shouldn’t go back home but we took pictures to keep memories of the impactful church service.

When we got home, we had breakfast and started fixing up a meal for us to eat, we had to make corn fufu and betel leaf soup, which didn’t take so long because we had already made the soup on Saturday and what’s left was the corn fufu to make and the ladies could do it in a jiffy.

All I had to do was sit back and enjoy the rest of the day. After a few hours, the meal was ready at past 2pm

I was in a hurry to eat that I couldn’t share with you the picture of the meal but maybe next time after eating, I took a nap and only woke up at 4pm and thought of going on a walk with the youngsters to get us some ice cream and biscuits and also to make the little one walk so she can get tired a little.

After te walk, we got back home at some time past 5pm and it was about to rain 🌧 so we rushed in. Then we started a game of cards with the whole family which took us till 7pm in the evening, there was a lot of laughter during the game and when it finished we had dinner and watched films till time of retirement to bed.
