Steem Cameroon Best day Contest - 4th April 2025

Hello steemians of Cameroon and the world at large, i am here again on the invite of @steem-cameroon to participate in this contest. The best day contest doesnt only give me a chance to tell you when my best day is, but it also gives me a chance to share that joy with you and not report it like i do in my diary games.
My best day was the 30th of Mar h 2025. This day was jam packed with activities from going to church to cooking a meal to going for a sleep over and many more so with this juicy trailer which I've just given you, I'll go straight to the story of why it is my best day..

This time, the rising sun was not really blazing but something else happened, there was a cool and refreshing breeze that blew across the town. At first it felt really comforting and drove me deeper into my sleep and as i drifted away i suddenly realised that i had to attend Mass that morning and the feeling ran away from me as i rushed out of the bed. Fast forward to when i got to church, i arrived late but not that late because they hadn't read the gospel yet. You see the gospel is like the center piece of the mass, if you arrive later than when the gospel is read, by religious law, you are not allowed to receive communion and you should take a confession after that mass.
So arriving late but not too late was a big relief to me. The mass had an interesting touch to it this time around because there was a children's baptism going on and this was another opportunity to re affirm my baptismal rites since everyone is asked to do it during the baptism.

Moving on... among other things, food gains the best place in my life as it is not only a way to get my heart as man but the best escape from the problematic life. I'm very good at cooking to my own knowledge and to that of those who have tasted my cooking. Cooking to me makes me feel important since i get to touch the lives of those who eat my meal although as a guy i don't always have that urge to cook all the time and most times i prefer drinking beverages than cooking and i don't like to eat out because it is a risk factor to a lot of Gastrointestinal diseases so cooking becomes a priority most times.

Later that day i went out to have a sleepover with some friends of mine at Mile 2 Ndamukong street. Though it was a trimester evaluation meeting, it was a chance for me to bond with them and get to know them. When you're with friends, you get to play a lot and you feel a sense of belonging to a pack because I'm usually a lone wolf 🐺 i don't know why but i think its due to my avoidance to go outside. Well this time i belonged to one and we had the fun of that night before going to bed, we played cards, ate good food, had a dance and all that.
Best day of this week goes to this day without any doubt as it touched all the feelings i loved, first it was the feeling of luck when i didn't get too late for the mass, then the feeling of importance when i cooked the meal and lastly was the feeling of belonging to a pack when i got together with some friends.
