My 2020: Just a normal day: Red velvet and Chocolate
January is a long month for the average person, even more so in Nigeria due to the the numerous expenses during the festivities of December. The implication of this is that one has to work harder and cut down the budget to get the account balanced again.
Juggling stuff alongside building a business is the farthest thing from chillaxing in this life, please, let no one tell you otherwise! I had less than 4 hours of sleep last night. Wonder why? You do not have to, I will tell you.
I was up baking!
I couldn't even make some room for dinner till some minutes past 11pm (your 2300 hours). I was that busy and the orders were due for this morning. After baking, I had to tidy up and set my alarm for different times so I could get up in hood time to dress the cakes and be ready for my daily job right after delivering the cakes.
Need I tell you the struggle to get the perfect shots?
I went on to deliver the cakes and went on to the day job.
It's no news that there are some viral outbreaks right now, Coronavirus in China about 10 other countries and Lassa in Nigeria. The microbiologist in me decided to share helpful information to my contacts on preventive measures, when to report a situation, how to stay safe and all.
I also marketed my business in the later part of the day as valentine's day is fast approaching.
Well, there you have it. How I spent my day.
Thanks for reading
I think you should share your own day too, check out this post by @anomadsoul to join
