Fungi Friday - LITTLE UMBRELLAS ON THE MOSS
While walking through the woods ...
... these days at the end of the summer ...
... or later, in autumn ...
... I see a multitude of tiny mushrooms ...
... growing on the moss carpets of the trees and old rotting stumps ...
... sometimes, some of them, withe the closed umbrellas, look a bit like oversized moss spore capsules ...
... and that's all I can tell you about these little fungi ...
... there isn't much to read or learn in this post ...
... :D so enjoy the pictures ... if you like these umbrella shaped things ... aproximatelly half of the photographs are enlargeable ... and as always in these posts on Steemit, they are my work
Yes, it's probably because it's usually moist and damp under the moss.

Top few seem to be in the mycena family. The bottom mushroom is a unique one probably in an obscure classification i've never heard of.

Who knows you may have discovered an unclassified mushroom in the bottom picture. Maybe call it Borjan catticus before someone else claims a name for it.
