Newcomer Challenge 2026 — For all Newcomers, 3 months Old and Below || Apply and Get Rewards for Being Active on Steemit

I discovered lately that most newcomers lack the motivation to write because there are no contests as before. Most of them don't have personal content and can't be consistent on a particular niche like those who do diary game posts. I'm back again with something to help them utilise their 3-month period well.

They say the foundation of everything starts at the inception. To be a successful content writer, you must lay your foundation from the time you create an account so that the zeal will be there. If the zeal to write isn't there at the onset, you may give up. So I decided to come up with an initiative where newcomers that are active are rewarded, coupled with the rewards they get from votes. How would this be done? It would be done in 3 segments.

• Giving them contents on a weekly basis, both from steemit and personal to those who lack content ideas.

• Organising a steem power growth competition to help them see the need for power up

• Checking the most active newcomer based on application, quality of posts, engagements and number of posts made.

Yes, this challenge would be based on a free application, so I'll know the newcomers I'm working with. This would help them to be committed and not just follow a general trend.

One thing most people like is a healthy competition, something that motivates them to do something. Even though they don't have the opportunity of being the top three, they'll be commended and appreciated for their hard work. I'll personally teach them how to create quality posts that can get their posts selected as the best post of the week.

For this weekly selection, three newcomers would be selected every week and given Steem prizes as a reward for hard work. These users would be the most active, and every Thursday, I'll be publishing the current leaderboard for them to put in more effort and top the chart. How will this be calculated?

We'll use points to play with the leaderboard. These are the following specifications.

• Posts: Since newcomers assume that creating one piece of content is the best on a daily basis, as their second piece of content won't be voted on, I won't place my count on the number of posts made but on the quality of these posts. I'll give the following points for posts.

Comments: Most newcomers just make posts because they know they'll be voted on. They are less interested if they have notifications they must check or comments. All they do is post only. They barely read their fellow newcomer's posts and vote on them. My evaluation would make engagements have the highest points.

You can't comment on more than 30 posts a week. Anything above 30 won't be counted. The restrictions are placed because some people may just comment randomly to get points and not from the heart or meaningfully.

Every week, I'll announce the best writer or author for the week and issue a certificate to these ones. You must have at least 2 certificates to get 20 Steems from me at the end of the month.

Every week, the 1-3 toppers on the leaderboard will share a 10 steem prize..

• Every week, a leaderboard of the most active in terms of posts and engagements would be shared, and the winner would be awarded

• Steem power growth would also be defined. How? Every two weeks, I'll give an update on the Steem power and Steems we've accumulated. A leaderboard will display the person with the highest steem power, and this would be judged based on when you joined Steemit to avoid cheating others. Our aim is to increase our wallet balance. The more Steem power you have, the more visible you become, the more voting power you have, and your vote increases when you're selected for best post of the week.

This is how it would be. You can always top the chart after 2 weeks. At the end of the month, I'll award all the toppers in a rank of

• Drop your username and when you joined steemit

• Log in to your wallet and screenshot the amount of steems and Steem power you have.

• Tell us which one you want to do. If you do both, fine and good. If you want to participate in only the most active challenge, that's still good.

• There's no deadline for submission. Anytime you apply, we'll place you in the current leaderboard depending on your accumulations and activities.

I hope this will make us active and increase our joy in creating content on a weekly basis. For some of us that may say, 'I lack content to create,' I'll drop a content list for the week tomorrow so that when starting officially on the 1st of January, we know what to write and how to write.
