September is gone, and I'm sensing the new breath of October. A crypto analyst says it's uptober, a month where the market will tear into two, which means this month is coming with goodwill. Unfortunately, it didn't start well, as the month started with the outbreak of war between two countries. This aside, let me tell you how September was good and bad to me.

In everything we do, we always experience good and bad moments, moments that make us cry and rejoice. These are what I experienced during the ember month that just ended. My life last month revolved around sharing beautiful moments, sharing thoughts, experiencing bonds of joy and happiness, and working on my health and lifestyle.

I also took Steemit alongside me, expressing these moments in words. Promotion wasn't left behind. I'll start with how I promoted Steemit in my locality.

Steemit Promotion

There's no week I wasn't active on Steemit. In fact, the introduction of this season 20 engagement challenge spurred my activity as I go extra miles into making my posts quality aside from the votes that come in. I also took steemit promotion personally. I had an encounter with a nursing mother who said someone told her about me and a writing platform I'm doing.

It was then that it occurred to me that she was talking about Steemit. She was so eager to join that day she saw me because I'm always a busy person. I took her in, but we had challenges of not being able to create Achievement 1 post after making captures. She travelled, and unfortunately, her phone got badly damaged. When she finally got in under repairs, she messaged me, telling me when she's back from where she went, she will resume and make her blog active. Her username is @virtuegabi

The second encounter I had was with a mother of four. She didn't approach me first. I was the one who approached her first. She has been longing to join Steemit for years, but the absence of an Android phone has prevented her from doing so since 2021. Finally, she got a new Android phone and is super active to join the content creation world. I took her in, and she successfully made her achievement 1 post and is still under mentorship by me.

Though she has been having challenges with data, which prevents her from being as active as she thought, she strives to learn the basics first while struggling to post when she has money for data. Though she posted without my guide, she has gotten corrections and has strive to be attentive to mentorship other than just going Her way. Her username is @patsygab123

The next person I signed up for during the month of September and is making waves even though under mentorship is @greyoliver. He's this persistent man who loves exploring. Though he has made series of posts outside my knowledge, I help him see the importance of mentorship, which we have been doing online.

Both of them who got their achievement 1 temporarily verified late couldn't wait to move on to the next achievement task which they are working on.

The fourth person I introduced to Steemit was my aunt with the username @brightclems. All of them are undergoing online mentorship, as it's not easy seeing them in person.

3 Marriages Attended

Marriages marked my weekends last month. It all started with the traditional marriage of a steemian named @ubikool. His wedding brought smiles to my face. This marriage was attended by lots of steemians in support of the celebrant, who's a member of the steemit family.

It was because of his marriage that I took to wearing my native attire for the first time, something I find difficult doing. It was one of the best marriages I've attended traditionally. I displayed my love for traditional songs by dancing the best I could when they were played. I also demonstrated my photography skills, which gave me two deals, which I'm currently anticipating.

Another marriage I attended wasn't traditional but a white wedding of my coursemate and friend. She found the love of her life while studying in school. I was there to witness her joy and happiness. Other coursemates of mine turned up, including some of my Steemian friends. The love was really massive, I must admit.

It all ended when my brother and sister in the faith bonded in love and their marriage was traditionally sealed. I also performed well with my traditional attire, still acting as an alternate photographer. It was the best way to end the month. I met some Steemians there who knew the couples. We shared positive energies and vibes till it was called a day.

One Death

This death is the most painful death I've experienced in my entire life. It was that of the sister of the Steemian who married last month. It was immediately after the marriage of her brother that she had an accident while returning home. Her husband and child were part of the accident, but only she suffered the injury.

She was unconscious for days in the hospital and finally died after struggling with death. This was very painful. This taught me that death is inevitable and can come anytime. If something unexpected could happen, it can happen to anyone.

Health and Lifestyle

These two things were what I really improved on last month. The engagement challenge on staying fit exposed me to programs that help in improving my heartbeat, abs, and legs. I also did other exercises that helped relieve me of fatigue and the uncomfortable feeling of staying at home all day.

I took hygiene to the next level and also practiced body treatments with skincare products. Football and recreation were part of the exercise. This is just a summarised version of how September treated me.

I am still alive with my family. My thumbs are not worn out because of writing on Steemit, and I'm bringing that violent, consistent energy to this month.

It's so pathetic of the sister who died after battling with life, I was really hoping she'll come out alive. I can understand the pains her family and friends will be going through, it's well.

Your September was eventful. One day we'll also tie wrapper to attend your marriage too.

Have a fantastic October!
